Production used clapperboard & script
An original clapperboard and script used in the production of 1492: Conquest of Paradise, the 1992 historical epic directed by Ridley Scott.
This original production used traditional style black wooden clapperboard with hinged clap stick bears the working title of the movie 'COLUMBUS' in addition to the names of director Ridley Scott and cinematographer Adrian Biddle. The main unit clapperboard has spaces where the slate number, take number and date could be marked for reference and exhibits some signs of chalk residue from use during filming with tape residue to the verso. This is accompanied by an original production used revised draft script dated 24th November 1991, this comprising 123 pages bound between front and rear covers of green card with blue revision pages present dated 6th February 1992, one page featuring minor hand inscribed annotations.
