Description

An original concept design used in the production of Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, the 1971 picture starring Gene Wilder under the direction of Mel Stuart.

This is an original production made photostat print of the original rendering drawn by noted art director Harper Goff as he designed the various elements of the picture. This concept depicts a conceptual design for the Wonka Mobile, signed by Goff and dated 1969 the concept is titled 'STARTING THE WONKA-MOBILE' with this early design differing significantly from the final vehicle seen on screen. Originally drawn by Goff in black on white paper this is a negative photostat print which was taken from the original rendering and in turn could be used to make any number of positive prints making this master almost certainly unique.

The concept design measures approximately 15.75" x 11.5" and remains in excellent vintage condition with minor pinholes to the top corners, extreamly fine.

An incredibly rare and highly displayable example of original production material from this highly regarded classic.
