Blake's 7

An original costume used in the production of the BBC science fiction television series Blake's 7.

This futuristic style tunic can be seen worn by Michael Keating as Vila Restal throughout the series three episode Sarcophagus. The costume was bespoke made by the BBC Wardrobe Department and is constructed from grey velour, it features distinctive red piping to the shoulders and collar with a zip fastening to the front, to the interior is an adhesive label which is hand inscribed 'BBC, BLAKES 7'.

The tunic remains in good vintage screen used condition exhibiting only light wear and soiling, overall fine.

Vila Restal was the only character to appear in every episode of the series and this represents a recognisable and desirable example of principal character wardrobe from this cult science fiction series.
