Tess

An original cast list used in the production of Tess, the 1979 drama starring Nastassja Kinski under the direction of Roman Polanski.

This original production used cast list is dated 27th July 1978 with a second cast list continuation dated 30th November 1978, comprising of a total of six pages the lists feature the address and contact details for the principal cast members with the covers headed with the addresses of both the French and English production companies. The first list is signed to the top right corner by production assistant Jeannie Stone with both being extensively annotated by her to include changes and the additions of other artists not present on the sheets, these hand inscribed in blue and red pen.

The cast lists remain in fair to excellent condition, the first exhibiting significant edge wear with tears fixed with period tape which has yellowed in the years since production, the second generally fine with minimal wear.

An extremely rare example of original production material from this highly regarded picture which was the recipient of three Academy Awards.
