Stardust

Production used clapperboard

Sold

Description

An original clapperboard used in the production of Stardust, the 2007 adventure picture directed by Matthew Vaughn.

This production used Panavision clapperboard is constructed from white semi translucent perspex with an affixed wooden clap stick and bears the movie title 'STARDUST' etched to the top in addition to the names of director Matthew Vaughn and director of photography Ben Davis. The clapperboard has spaces where the slate and take information could be logged and retains these markings from its final use during the production with a large 'A' to the bottom right corner indicating the camera it was used on. Further to this the clapperboard retains the date '13th SEPTEMBER 2006' and the inscription 'VFX' indicating that it was used during the production of visual effects elements after principal photography.

The large sized clapperboard measures approximately 15" x 12" and remains in excellent production used condition with only light edge wear to the perspex and some minor paint loss to the wooden clap stick.

A fine example of the iconic clapperboard from this well received picture.
