Description

An original storyboard used in the production of the 1977 science fiction picture Star Wars, the first instalment in the classic franchise directed by George Lucas.

From the exciting sequence where the Millennium Falcon comes under fire after escaping the Death Star and Luke and Han take to the Falcon main guns to fend them off. The storyboard is a production issued copy of the original drawing by effects illustrator and designer Joe Johnston which depicts the Falcon gun with a figure behind, the description states 'Action shot to be filmed in England, note* we add lasers', utilised at Industrial Light & Magic during production of the visual effects.

The board measures 8.5" x 11" and remains in excellent production used condition with three punch holes for binder use.

A fine example of an original storyboard from one of the most influential and highly regarded franchises in cinematic history.
