Space Truckers

An original miniature used in the production of the 1996 comedy science fiction movie Space Truckers.

This spacecraft filming miniature was built for the production by model maker Steve Howarth, originally intended for a fly by past camera it was ultimately used in the space junkyard. The miniature is built from from a Star Bird toy of plastic construction which was modified and dressed with various kit parts and decals, painted and weathered to a high standard the miniature features a threaded mounting point to the underside where it could be placed on a rig for filming.

The miniature measures approximately 15" in length and 6" wide, it remains in generally excellent condition lacking only very minor detailing.

This represents a highly displayable artefact from this light hearted science fiction comedy.
