A pair of original Sontaran gloves used in the production of the long running science fiction television series Doctor Who.

From the 2008 two part serial The Sontaran Stratagem/The Poison Sky starring David Tennant as The Doctor are this pair of original Sontaran gloves custom made by the production as part of the updated costume design of the warriors. The three fingered gloves are constructed from painted foam rubber and are designed to appear as armour, each feature applied labels to the interior cuff which are hand inscribed with a partially illegible name, possibly 'JAC'.

The gloves measure approximately 10" long and remain in fair production used condition exhibiting significant wear and foam loss, lacking the communicator to the rear of the left hand with attachment velcro showing.

An affordable example of original wardrobe relating to one of the classic villains from this cult science fiction series.
