Shadowlands

An original clapperboard used in the production of Shadowlands, the 1993 biographical drama starring Anthony Hopkins under the direction of Richard Attenborough.

This production used traditional style black wooden clapperboard with hinged clap stick features the name of the movie 'SHADOWLANDS' hand inscribed on applied white tape in addition to the names of director Richard Attenborough and cinematographer Roger Pratt. The board also features the date from its last use during the production, 16-8-93, again hand inscribed on applied tape and is signed by Richard Attenborough, Julian Fellowes and production designer Stuart Craig.

The clapperboard measures approximately 10" x 8" and remains in good production used condition with considerable edge and surface wear due to use and age.
