An original prop used in the production of Children of the Corn, the 1984 horror picture directed by Fritz Kiersch based on the short story penned by Stephen King.

This is one of the various drawings created by the production which feature prominently in various scenes throughout the movie being drawn by Sarah (Anne Marie McEvoy) with the help of her second sight.

This hand drawn piece was created by illustrator Judeane Winter Wiley in the style of a children's drawing and is accomplished in coloured crayon on paper, it depicts a person about to be murdered at the hands of a scythe wielding killer with trees and plants to the left and the sun and a cloud to the sky. To the verso the artwork is hand inscribed 'POSSIBLE USE IN SARAH'S ROOM, WALL DEC, ART DEPT, 1983, COC' and is signed by director Fritz Kiersch in pencil.

The drawing measures approximately 18" x 12" and remains in excellent condition exhibiting only minor edge wear with a small 1" tear to the bottom, overall fine.

An extremely rare and highly displayable artefact from this cult horror picture.
