Hand drawn storyboard artworks - Cain in warehouse

Sold

Description

A pair of original storyboards used in the production of RoboCop 2, the 1990 action sequel directed by Irvin Kershner.

These original hand drawn storyboards were created by storyboard artist Giacomo G. Ghiazza and depict Cain in the warehouse sequence and a man shooting a gun respectively. Accomplished in pencil and felt pen the illustrations are taped to printed sheets with spaces to mark visual effects notes and are hand inscribed with the scene numbers 'HH-6' and 'HH-6B'. All the copies of this storyboard which were distributed to various production members would have originated from these hand drawn originals.

The two storyboard pages measure approximately 11" x 8.5" with the three illustrations measuring 6.5" x 3.5", they remain in near perfect condition having been carefully stored since the production, exceptionally fine.

A fine example of original artwork with excellent subject matter from this classic action franchise.
