Ran

An original press booklet for the 1985 Akira Kurosawa epic Ran.

Such press books were created to promote foreign release of the film as it was released worldwide in early 1986. This eight page booklet covers the making of the film in detail and includes information on senior production members in addition to a rare Kurosawa interview originally published in the February 1986 edition of the now defunct Theatre Crafts publication which also features some behind the scenes photographs.

The booklet measures 8.5" x 11" and is in excellent condition throughout.

A rare item from this Academy Award winning masterpiece regarded as the crowning glory in the 57 year career of one of cinemas most influential filmmakers.
