Thomas and Friends

An original miniature used during the production of the popular children's television series Thomas and Friends.

This is an original head for a railway worker miniature, created in mid scale which was more commonly used in later series replacing the smaller miniatures from earlier in the production. The head is cast in resin and appears to be partially finished, washed with skin tone paint and a blushed face with the hat having been painted a dark shade of blue, the head also features a brass pin to the neck area allowing it to be located on a body. It is uncertain if this miniature ever saw use on screen as it lacks hair and eye detailing however it is not impossible it was used in longer shots where these small details would go unnoticed.

The head measures approximately 1.5" tall including the pin and remains in good condition with some minor paint wear.
