NeverEnding Story (The)

An original reference image utilised during the production of the 1984 fantasy epic The NeverEnding Story directed by Wolfgang Peterson.

This production used reference image shows the large scale fully animatronic Rockbiter against blue screen during filming and is a Vistavision frame blow up of the shot used for camera reference by the motion control unit when filming various background plates which were composited with the blue screen footage to produce the final shots. The image bears a code hand inscribed to the bottom in blue relating to the shot.

The image is printed on glossy photographic stock and measures 10" x 8", it remains in excellent condition having been carefully stored since production, very fine.

A rare example of original material from the production of this fantasy classic.
