Description

A set of original Polaroid images used in the production of the 1983 science fiction picture Return of the Jedi, the third instalment of the original Star Wars trilogy directed by Richard Marquand.

These three Polaroid images show the maquette made for the character of Pote Snitkin, an associate of Jabba who fell victim to the Sarlacc. The images show front, rear and side profiles of the study model and are accompanied by some handwritten notes on Post-it referring the the maquette as 'Snit Plotkin' and presented in a plastic wallet which is period to the production.

Each photograph measures 4 1/4" x 3 1/2" and all remain in excellent production used condition.

A fine example of interesting production material from one of the most influential and highly regarded franchises in cinematic history.
