Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace

These R2-D2 parts were made during the production of the 1999 Star Wars trilogy prequel The Phantom Menace written and directed by George Lucas.

Made for use on R2-D2, everyones favourite astromech droid, these production made parts are cast in resin and are unfinished and unpainted with some flashing still present to the edges. This lot consists of an R2 radar eye with plastic dome and holographic projector pieces which were made during production but were ultimately surplus to requirements and unused.

The radar eye measures approximately 6" x 5" at its widest points and the projector pieces around 2" in diameter.
