NeverEnding Story (The)

An original storyboard used during the production of the 1984 fantasy epic The NeverEnding Story directed by Wolfgang Peterson.

This is an original hand painted storyboard produced during the production of the film, presented in glorious full colour on thick card stock titled 'DIE UNENDLICHE GESCHICHTE' to the top hand inscribed in pen with the scene description 'EXTERIOR-HOWLING-FOREST-NIGHT, A STORMY WIND ROARS THROUGH THE TOPS OF GIANT, CAMERA FADE IN AND DISSOLVE'. The scene number, shot number are also hand inscribed in pen, the actual painting itself is accomplished on a separate piece of paper and then overlaid on to the card stock as is common with hand produced work. 

The storyboard is A4 in size and is in beautiful near perfect original condition exhibiting only very very minor toning to the edges, very fine.

This represents an incredibly rare example of hand painted art from the production of this fantasy classic.
