Clash of the Titans

An original helmet from the 1981 fantasy classic Clash of the Titans starring Harry Hamlin as Perseus and co-produced by stop motion visual effects legend Ray Harryhausen.

Helmets such as this can be seen worn in the film by the Joppa guards, notably in the ceremonial sequence. Constructed from fibreglass the helmet features a leather chinstrap and has a foam lining to the interior to aid the actors comfort.

The helmet measures approximately 14" x 11" and remains in excellent condition with some surface scratching and edge wear from production use and storage.

A rare and displayable artefact from this classic film which will surely forever remain a genre favourite.
