Star Trek: Insurrection

An original costume created for the production of Star Trek: Insurrection, the 1998 science fiction picture and the ninth feature in the Star Trek film franchise.

This costume was custom made by the production for use by Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard who can be seen wearing this style of wardrobe in various scenes of the movie. The futuristic costume consists of a two tone velour shirt with dark blue trousers and a bespoke made jacket of green leather, the wardrobe features no labels or sizes marked. Although made for use by Stewart it would appear that this is a production made back up as it is clear that only one jacket is worn on screen.

The costume remains in near perfect condition throughout, very fine.

An excellent example of a principal character costume from one of the biggest film franchises of all time.
