Description

An original miniature used in the production of Terrahawks, the 1980s British science fiction television series produced by Thunderbirds creator Gerry Anderson in conjunction with Christopher Burr.

This is an original body shell for Dr Ninestein's Rolls Royce, HUDSON or Heuristic Universal Driver with Sensory and Orbital Navigation, which has the ability to change colour, a feature which was achieved during filming by having a miniature chassis from which the body shell could be removed and changed as required. This is an original body shell used in the production, constructed from fibreglass with metallic green paint finish the shell features pins to the front and rear where it would have located on the rest of the miniature during filming, a shell of this colour can be seen in the episode To Catch a Tiger.

The HUDSON body has been mounted on a custom made wooden chassis with plastic wheels for display which is in turn fixed to a wooden plinth, the miniature measures approximately 13.5" long and remains in excellent production used condition, very fine.

A rare and highly displayable miniature artefact from this classic Anderson series.
