Hole (The)

An original clapperboard used in the production of The Hole, the 2001 psychological horror starring Thora Birch and Keira Knightley.

This production used B camera clapperboard is constructed from white perspex with an affixed clap stick and bears the movie title "THE HOLE" etched to the top with the names of director Nick Hamm and cinematographer Denis Crossan below. Following is use in the production of The Hole the clapperboard was reused on a subsequent unknown production when tape was added over the etching to be written on, the removal of this tape has resulted in a white residue being left behind which could likely be removed with some perseverance.

The clapperboard measures approximately 11" x 9" and remains in generally good condition with some minor edge wear to the clap stick and the aforementioned tape residue from subsequent use.
