An original negative from the production of Gandhi, the 1982 historical epic based on the life of Mahatma Gandhi directed by Richard Attenborough.

This is an original large format 4" x 5" black and white studio negative on heavyweight film showing director Richard Attenborough and Ben Kingsley. The negative is housed in its original paper holder which is hand inscribed 'ATTENBOROUGH/KINGSLEY' in blue pen and remains in good condition with a pin hole to both corners and edge wear to the outer, overall fine. Please note the final image presented here is a scanned positive provided for reference.

A rare example of original production from this highly regarded biopic which was the recipient of eight Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor.
