Description

An original costume used in the production of Brave New World, the 1980 television movie starring Keir Dullea and based on the classic 1932 dystopian novel penned by Aldous Huxley.

This Gamma boy costume was custom made for the production by noted industry tailors Western Costume. The two piece costume of mustard coloured wool comprises of a jumper and trousers with the former featuring the Gamma insignia stitched to the left breast and ribbed cuffs with zip fastenings, this retaining its original Western Costume label to the interior seam which is type written '7612-3, GRAMMA'(sic), trousers similarly labelled to the interior waist band, this time with the correct spelling, sizing information and additionally hand inscribed 'BOY'

The wardrobe remains in excellent production used condition with just a small moth hole to the back of the top, otherwise fine.

A rare example of original wardrobe from this Emmy Award nominated production.
