Fireman Sam

An original miniature used in the production of the popular children's television series Fireman Sam.

Miniatures such as this can be seen used on screen throughout series five of the show which aired in 2003, this used more advanced techniques than previous series and was the final series before production switched to CGI. These fire extinguisher miniatures can be seen on screen throughout the series in various locations such as the fire station, the fire truck and Dilys' shop.

Constructed from resin this highly detailed miniature features a static hose, handle and safety pin with a detailed label affixed to the tank, the prop features some residue to the base where it would have been stood on set and evidence of glue where it was attached to an extinguisher stand during production.

The miniature stands an impressive 5" in height and remains in excellent screen used condition.

An incredibly rare and displayable artefact from this much loved children's television series.
