Description

An original script used in the production of Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex* (*But Were Afraid to Ask), the 1972 comedy picture directed by Woody Allen

This original production used revised draft script dated December 13th 1971 consists of over 100 pages bound between front and rear covers of red card with the front featuring a sticker type written with the movie title. The script is split in to seven vignettes each headed by a title page, these appear in a different order to the final cut of the film with notable differences, the seven vignettes in this script are titled as follows:

  • What is Sodomy?
  • Question: Where Does the Word "Masturbation" Come From? Answer: The Bible.
  • What are Sex Perverts?
  • Do "Aphrodisiacs" Work?
  • Are the Findings of Doctors and Clinics Who Do Sexual Research Accurate?
  • What Makes a Man Become a Homosexual?
  • What Happens During Ejaculation?

The script remains in excellent production used condition throughout with some minor edge and cover wear, overall very fine. The spine of the script has been hand inscribed 'EVERYTHING SEX*' in marker pen.

A rare example of an original production artefact from this well regarded comedy.
