Description

An original lifecast used in the production of the 1983 science fiction picture Return of the Jedi, the third instalment of the original Star Wars trilogy directed by Richard Marquand.

This is a lifecast used in the production of the Ewok creature masks created by the make-up department headed by Graham, Kay and Stuart Freeborn, noted contributors to the Star Wars universe. This lifecast of an Ewok actor is constructed of white plaster and would have been used during the creation and painting of the Ewok creature masks, it features paint to the eye areas and some glue residue from use during the production.

The lifecast measures approximately 10.5" x 6.5" and remains in displayable condition having been expertly repaired after once being broken.

A rare artefact from one of the most influential and highly regarded franchises in cinematic history.
