Doctor Who is the long running science fiction television programme which first aired in 1963 and still graces our screens today, originally cancelled in 1989 the show returned to the BBC in 2005 making it the longest running and arguably the most successful series in the history of television. Following the travels of The Doctor, a Time Lord who travels in space and time, the longevity of the show has been aided by his ability to regenerate with twelve actors having portrayed the iconic character to date. The series has introduced various memorable elements in to popular culture, notably the Daleks which have become a cultural phenomenon recognisable to millions of people around the globe.

The Prop Gallery is proud to present a selection of original artefacts used in the production of this legendary series, a number of which have never before been offered on the collectors market. These will be made available on The Prop Gallery website as part of Doctor Who Week which will see new listings added to the website for three consecutive days on Tuesday July 12, Wednesday July 13 and Thursday July 14 2016. With every decade of the show represented this represents an excellent opportunity to acquire a number of rare, significant and desirable original artefacts from this ever popular science fiction series and mainstay of British television.
