Description

An original prop used in the production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the 2005 film adaptation of the famous Roald Dahl book starring Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka under the direction of Tim Burton.

These Golden Tickets can be seen in various sequences of the movie after Willy Wonka (Johnny Depp) announces a contest where the children who find them will be given a tour of his secretive chocolate factory. This central plot device of the movie is one of a number custom made by the production, constructed from card stock covered with reflective foil which is embossed with black writing 'GOLDEN TICKET', the Wonka logo above and Wonka's factory stamp. To the verso is a message from Willy Wonka informing the lucky finder of the ticket the details of the factory trip to take place on February 1st.

The Golden Ticket measures approximately 7.5 x 3.5" and remains in excellent production used condition with some very minor wear to the patterned edges, overall extremely fine.

An instantly recognisable and displayable artefact from this well received adaptation which requires no introduction.
