Doctor Who

An original pair of gloves used in the production of the long running BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who.

The gloves were worn by Mort Jackson as a Chancellery Guard in the 1978 serial The Invasion of Time starring Tom Baker as The Doctor. These were custom made by BBC Wardrobe and are a converted pair of period black leather gloves which have been dressed with red material and white textured braiding and a bespoke made communication device attached to the back of the right glove. Lined to the interior and labelled Mort Jackson on period BBC label.

The gloves remain in excellent production used condition.

A very vibrant and displayable costume piece from the Tom Baker era of the cult television series.
