Blake's 7

An original costume used in the production of the BBC science fiction television series Blake's 7.

This costume can be seen worn by one of the pirates in the series four episode Assassin, the costume comprises of a waistcoat and trousers which were custom made by the BBC Wardrobe Department. The waistcoat is constructed from brown velvet and is lined to the interior with decorative gold trim and applied stud detail, the brown trousers of the same material as the gold trim but inside out and featuring a label to the interior type written 'BBC TV' and hand inscribed 'BLAKE 7' in black pen.

The costume remains in excellent production used condition throughout with only minor wear, very fine.

A fine example of original wardrobe from this cult science fiction series.
