Alternate 1985 Hill Valley Police decal
An original prop created for the production of Back to the Future Part II, the second instalment in the classic trilogy starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd.
This Hill Valley Police decal was custom made by the production for use on the police cars and tanks seen as Marty (Michael J. Fox) finds himself in the alternate 1985 where Biff (Thomas F. Wilson) is wealthy and powerful. The decal is custom printed on a self adhesive gold semi gloss paper and features a logo comprising an illustration of Biff Tannen's Pleasure Paradise with the words 'HILL VALLEY POLICE', for use on screen these decals were affixed to magnets which could be placed on the side of the relevant vehicles with this example a production made and unused backup which retains its self adhesive backing to the verso.
The decal measures approximately 14.5" in diameter and remains in excellent production made condition with extremely minimal edge wear, a fine original example of this prop which has become more and more replicated in recent years.
A recognisable and displayable artefact from this classic science fiction trilogy.
