Flash Gordon

An original prop used in the production of Flash Gordon, the 1980 science fiction picture directed by Mike Hodges.

Daggers such as this can be seen used by various characters including Fico (Richard O'Brien) as he confronts Flash (Sam J. Jones). The prop dagger is constructed from resin and features a decorative handle finished in green paint with the silver blade moulded around a serrated saw, this is accompanied by an original sheath with integral belt hook constructed of painted leather.

The prop dagger remains in very good production used condition with some paint wear to the handle and a chip to the very tip of the blade revealing the saw within, sheath excellent with only minor wear.

An affordable and displayable artefact from this cult science fiction classic.
