Aliens

An original miniature used in the production of Aliens, the second instalment in the popular Alien franchise directed by James Cameron.

Miniatures such as this can be seen used in the Sulaco Dropship cargo bay which was constructed at 1:12 scale of the live action set at Pinewood Studios. The miniature is constructed from wood and EMA plastics finished in green featuring hand painted yellow writing such as the gross weight and pointing out the lashing and fork lift points.

The miniature measures approximately 4.5" x 4" x 3.5" and remains in excellent production used condition with only very minor paint wear, overall very fine.

An exceptionally displayable and highly detailed miniature artefact from this science fiction classic which won the 1986 Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.
