Nostromo light panel
An original prop used in the production of Alien, the 1979 science fiction classic directed by Ridley Scott with design from legendary Swiss surrealist H. R. Giger.
Light panels such as this can be seen on the front of computer terminals in the corridors aboard the Nostromo. The panel is constructed from extruded aluminium with a grey paint finish and features a number of blue and red bulb covers. Following its use on the set this section was cut from one of the longer strips and retained, measuring approximately 21" long and 3.5" wide it remains in excellent condition exhibiting some minor paint wear and lacking nine bulb covers, otherwise fine.
A very rare example of original material from this influential science fiction classic now celebrating its 40th anniversary.
